For the past several years, pandemic-related funding allowed Sumner County Schools to provide free school supplies to all K–12 students. Now that this funding has ended, many families are once again facing the financial strain of back-to-school expenses.

To help meet this renewed need, United Way of Sumner County is proud to partner with Sumner County Schools to bring back our Stuff the Bus Drive, this year with a more focused approach. Based on updated school supply lists provided by the district, we’re collecting specific items to be distributed through our network of partner agencies to students whose families are struggling financially.

Together, we can make sure every child starts the school year with the tools they need to succeed—because every student deserves the same strong start.
