Yulefest, an annual tradition for Goodlettsville for over 35 years!

Yulefest is a cherished part of the holiday tradition for Goodlettsville, and has been an annual start to the holiday season for over 35 years.

Yulefest kicks off the holiday season with musicians, storytellers, and demonstrators in the cabins of the fort and in the historic home.  Visitors can take their time listening to the sounds of yesteryear as they tour the sites and take in the beauty of simple, natural decorations, refreshments and unique shopping at the gift shop. This free event takes place on the first Saturday in December from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the Goodlettsville Visitor's Center, Historic Mansker's Station, and the Bowen House. Parking is available at the Visitor's Center with overflow parking available inside Moss-Wright Park.

Yulefest is a free event and does not require advance reservations.

Welcome to the TN0029 - City of Gallatin's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On December 13, 2025 at 10:00 am, TN0029 - City of Gallatin will be helping Gallatin City Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

The theme for this year's parade is "Christmas is...". 
What does Christmas mean to you? 
Example: "Christmas is a cozy fire in the fireplace surrounded by family and friends beside the tree."

Come enjoy this great Gallatin Tradition with your entire family!  It is a "not to be missed" event! The parade kicks off at 12:00 pm and will end with Santa Claus kicking off the holiday season!

 Snowball at The Station 

Grab your dancing shoes and twirl the night away at the Snowball at The Station! This magical daddy-daughter dance (or favorite fella-friendly soirée!) is the perfect chance for girls and their special guys to create sparkling memories together. Enjoy delicious snacks, engaging activities, and, of course, plenty of fun on the dance floor! 

Best of all, your joyful night supports the Gallatin Chamber Foundation’s K-12 initiatives, funding innovative enhancement projects that inspire and elevate students in Gallatin schools. Let’s dance, laugh, and make a difference—all while having a snow-tastic time!

A Tour Unlike Any Other

Night at the Museum makes its highly anticipated return on February 7, 2026, offering guests four unique tour times to experience history like never before.

Join us at the Sumner County Museum for an evening where history truly comes alive. Throughout the galleries, over a dozen costumed interpreters will bring our exhibits to life, sharing fascinating stories and unique insights into Sumner County’s past.

Tours will be at 4:30, 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Ticket includes drink and snack.
Proceeds benefit educational programming at the Museum.
